Personal Profile

I hold a BSc in Physics from the University of Crete, an MSc in Electronics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MSc in Electronic Automation from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Currently I am a PhD candidate in the area of “Machine learning - Data mining”, at Department of Informatics, Athens University of Economics and Business, supervised by Professor Michalis Vazirgiannis. My research interests focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Mining and Representation Learning. 

I am working in the technical and vocational education, as Electronic Engineer and I hope that technological revolution as a complement to the best parts of human nature - creativity, empathy, cooperation, thinking - will also lift humanity into a new collective and moral consciousness based on a shared sense of destiny.

Outside of working, studying and researching, I spend time with my family and friends and enjoy driving my motorcycle.
